In this bibliography Totten includes annotations of various types of first-person accounts (memoirs, diaries, oral histories, autobiographies, interviews, court testimony, eyewitness statements)of sur vivors and other witnesses (including journalists, liberators, relief workers, bystanders, diplomats, etc.)of the following genocidal acts: the Armenian genocide, the Soviet man-made famine in Ukraine , the Soviet deportations of whole nations, the Holocaust, the fate of the Gypsies during the Holocaust years, the Khmer Rouge slaughter of the Cambodian people, and many recent occurrences.
