About 40 Khmer Rouge soldiers intruded into a village in Sangkha District of Surin Province. One of them was killed, while a Thai trooper was seriously wounded. In another incident in Taphraya Distric t two Thais were killed. The Khmer Rouge opened fire on four villagers in a rice field about one kilometer from the border.
