Over 300 heavily-armed Khmer Rouge soldiers launched an attack against an outpost in Sangkha District of Surin Province. A Thai villager was killed, six others were wounded, and two officers were seri ously wounded in a pre-dawn assault. Several Khmer Rouge were believed slain by Thai aircraft strafing runs and air strikes.
