The plans of treacherous networks were divided into two: country-wide and separate plans. The guerrillas who were captured along with Thach Thoam confessed that they attacked the revolution in May 1976. The separate plans of the traitors were those of Prey Nup and sub-province of Kampong Seila by politically indoctrinating the people to counter the revolution, assist the guerrillas and flee into the forest, build up infiltrating forces in village, stage sabotage to destroy rice grange at Prey Nup cooperative in May 1976 and demolish hospital and plot medicines. The plots were made to take over Kampong Som and divide troops into two: attacking through Kampot province and through Takeo and advancing Phnom Penh. For the rest of the troops, they had to attack through Kampong Speu and Phnom Penh.
គំរោងផែនការរបស់បក្ខពួកក្បត់មានពីរយ៉ាងគឺ ផែនការទូទាំងប្រទេស និងផែនការដោយឡែក។ ក្នុងចំណោមពួកចោរព្រៃដែលចាប់បានជា មួយឈ្មោះថាច់ ធាំ បានសារភាពថាពួកវានឹងវាយបដិវត្ដចាប់ពីខែ ៥-១៩៧៦នេះ។ ចំពោះផែនការដោយឡែកពួកក្បត់មានផែនការ សម្រាប់ព្រៃនប់និងអនុខេត្ដកំពង់សីលាដោយបំផុសផ្នែកនយោបាយ អប់រំអូសទាញប្រជាជនឱ្យប្រឆាំងបដិវត្ដ ឱ្យឧបត្ថម្ភចោរព្រៃ និងរត់ ចូលព្រៃ កសាងកម្លាំងបង្កប់តាមភូមិ ធ្វើវិចេ្ឆទកម្មកំទេចជង្រុកស្រូវ សហករណ៍ព្រៃនប់ឱ្យបានក្នុងខែ៥-១៩៧៦ និងកំទេចមន្ទីរពេទ្យ ហើយប្លន់យកថ្នាំ។ ពួកក្បត់នេះមានផែនការពេលវាយយក កំពង់សោមបានហើយត្រូវចែកទ័ពជាពីរផ្នែកគឺវាយលុកតាមកំពត តាកែវរួចចូលភ្នំពេញតែម្ដង។ ចំណែកមួយផ្នែកទៀតវាយចូលតាម កំពង់ស្ពឺ និងចូលភ្នំពេញដែរ។
