Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1956, Chhouk Sao joined the Free Khmer Party and had a relationship with the Secretary of Region 21. [Sao's]duties were to supply and build up the forces. In 1960, [Sao]joined the CIA. In 1970, [Sa o]led the troops to O Reang Ov to claim authority. Later, [Sao]became a member of the District Committee of Koh Sotin District and met Tum, the traitor, and agreed to work together. [Sao]reported the revolution bases to the air force to bomb. [Sao]persuaded combatants to desert the front line and destroy weapons. [Sao]deliberately commanded troops to enter the battle field which was being bombed. [Sao]formed troops in an attempt to fulfill the betrayal plan. On 2 November, 1977, [Chhouk Sao]was arrested by Angkar.
