Summary / Abstract :

IN 1970, Bin Barn [allegedly]joined the revolution and took the position of Village Chief. [Barn]encouraged revolutionaries to seize farming land from peasants in an attempt to make people and youth g et angry with the revolution. [Barn]encouraged people to escape to the enemy's defence line. In 1972, [Barn]moved to Region and was assigned by a traitorous network to direct the peasants and encourag e them to commit traitorous activities and not to join the revolution. In 1975, Angkar made [Barn]District Secretary in the region. There, [Barn]contacted the Vietnamese, built up traitorous networks, hid weapons to attack the revolution and killed cattle. On 4 August, 1977, [Bin Barn]was arrested by Angkar.
