Summary / Abstract :
|
Lang Leng [allegedly]joined the revolution in a military unit, Region 40. In 1970, Leng joined the Liberal Khmer, moved to Division 315, gave people help to sell food supplies in enemy region, and ope ned way for Lon Nol troops to attack the defense line during fighting in Kampong Cham, causing many soldiers to die. After the liberation day, [Leng]went to Phnom Penh, inspired youth to destroy the c ity by throwing grenades and burning, contacted the Vietnamese soldiers for help and allowed the Vietnamese troops into Khmer territory to assist in a coup d'état against the revolution's authority.
