Summary / Abstract :
|
Phauk Chhay [allegedly]was an economics student with Hou Yun and Hou Nim during 1961-62. While studying, [Chhay]was a writer on a newspaper for Chao Seng. In 1963, [Chhay]allegedly joined the CIA and held a secret meeting with Hou Nim to form a new party in order to organize mass lines to inspire student movement. In 1967, [Chhay]was imprisoned over a disagreement on the exhibition of Chinese arts , and in the meantime, Comrade Samphan and Hou Yun escaped. In the prison, he contacted Comrade Norn Soun, who recognised the people's party with Hou Yun until free from the prison.
