Summary / Abstract :
|
Comrade Voeun made a confession about Soviet plans in Cambodia. The Soviets [allegedly]intended to come into Cambodia with the purpose of helping rebuild the country and enlarging the Liberal Federal Party. The strategy of the Soviets was to attempt to drive off the Kampuchea revolutionary movement and Kampuchean Communist Party. The strategy was mainly to destroy armed forces and damage crops of the revolution by sending Vietnamese soldiers and their allied traitors to drive Cambodia into a position of shortage so it would have to accept economic aid through Vietnam. Soviets furthermore tried every possible means to damage the revoltuion's forces.
