Summary / Abstract :

In 1962, Sam Yon [allegedly]joined the CIA as advised by Chou Pat. After being released from jail, [Yon]went to live in Phnom Penh and contacted the network in town in order to build up forces. [Yon]p ropagandized people not to join or support the revolution. In 1970, [Sam Yon]moved to Kampong Cham and contacted the CIA network, Hang and Sy, in order to become a spy in the Eastern Zone and encourag ed people not to work cooperatively in the paddy fields. After the liberation day in 1975, [Yon]worked in Russei Keo Technical School. [Yon]reduced the ration of the trainees in an attempt to cause tr ouble between the trainees and the revolution. On 12 February, 1978, [Sam Yon]was arrested by Angkar.
