Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1964, Yang Poeu [allegedly]joined the CIA to spy on Khmer Rouge activities. In 1966, [Yang Poeu]went to build up CIA forces in Kirirom. During 1970-74, Yung Poeu sent messages to Lon Nol troops to drop bombs and gather and evacuate people. In 1975, [Yang]was a security guard in Siem Reap, Chikreng District, [he]sent messages to planes to drop bombs, destroyed military camps, and inspired people to oppose the collective regime. In 1976, [Yang]was a security guard for Foreign Guests, and was involved in hiding Lon Nol troops in the Northern Zone until arrested by Angkar.
