In 1974, Pin Ron joined the revolution as a Vice Chief of a youth unit. In 1976, [Pin Ron][allegedly]joined the CIA, built up traitorous forces, conducted actions to destroy the revolution, encouraged people to be lazy about work, provoked conflict inside the units, allowed youth to move freely and arbitrarily, assaulted women and killed them, and reserved weopons to attack the revolution and Olym pic Stadium. [Pin Ron]conducted the actions until arrested by Angkar.
