Summary / Abstract :

In 1961, Pon Thon [allegedly]joined the CIA through the leadership of Comrade Ho Tong Ho, Kampong Kantuot School's principal, in a move to support the US and to oppose communists. In 1974, [Pon Thon]c ame to Phnom Penh, met with a CIA party and arranged a plan to counter-attack the revolution with top leaders like Comrade Chan Rainsy, Sek Sam Iet, Sing Ngoc Than, So Sten and In Tam. White Khmer Com rade Leang Hap An was a political teacher in the meeting. In 1975, [Thon]went to live in Prah Net Preah and conducted traitorous actions by transporting food supplies for In Tam troops to attack Regio n 5 and by destroying Angkar's property until arrested on June 1, 1977, by Angkar.
