Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1964, Ouk Vorn [allegedly]joined the CIA and sent Buor, a teacher in Takeo Pagoda, to spy on the Khmer Rouge. In 1970, [Vorn]infiltrated the Vietnamese unit in Region 33, encouraging Khmer youths t o believe in Sihanouk and oppose the Khmer Rouge. [Vorn]built up traitorous force within the unit and stole weapons from the Vietnamese unit, and conducted activities to cause chaos in the Vietnamese unit. In 1973, [Vorn]was sent to the Special Unit in Region 15 and there [Vorn]incited youth to run back home, destroyed weapons and killed soldiers. In 1975, [Vorn]built up traitorous force, incited youths to steal food supplies, destroy equipment, and farming tools, and made preparation for attacks until arrested by Angkar.
