Summary / Abstract :
In 1967, Norng Sarim [allegedly]joined the CIA, and then contacted the networks of Son and Vagn in order to encourage people's movements to oppose the revolution. He later became an Under-Secretary fo Pailin District. At that time, he built up CIA forces in Pailin, incited cadres into quarrel from unit to unit, and built up traitorous forces inside the military in Region 39. After the liberation d ay in 1975, he was sent by Angkar to O Chrov and there he got in touch with journalists to expose the revolution. When sent to defend the border, he opened Phnom Malai border crossing to Thai to enter , contacted Thai soldiers, took Khmer people to join soldiers led by In Tam in order to counter-attack the revolution until arrested by Angkar.
