Summary / Abstract :
|
Yab Yan [allegedly]made confession about a plan to conquer the Central Zone including Kampong Cham and Kampong Thom in July 1977. The group's chief, named Sei, did not succeed with the plan and was ar rested by Angkar. The plan, however, was to be continued and was scheduled to be carried out in October, 1977 as arranged by Chorn. The latter plan exploded grenades and mined warehouses on September 17, 1977. After an explosion on October 19, 1977, Yab Yan was arrested by Angkar.
