Summary / Abstract :
|
Chhuon Uon [allegedly]was a spy for a second lieutenant from 1968 until 1970, and was assigned to spy on the Khmer Rouge. Afterwards, [Uon]infiltrated the revolution and he was in the network of Nai, a secretary in Region 5. In 1973, [Uon]joined the CIA and infiltrated military units. [Uon]then built up underground CIA forces to attack the revolution, made people afraid of the revolution, and cont acted troops(Lon Nol)to come and destroy the revolution's forces in Sraing Raing Village. In 1975, [Uon]joined soldiers in Northeast Zone, and then inspired people to escaping to Thailand to join In T am's soldiers, and contacted Thai military police to accept those escaping for building up forces to counter-attack the revolution. In April 1977, [Chhuon Uon]was arrested by Angkar.
