Summary / Abstract :

In 1963, Keo Socheat joined the revolution. In 1970, [Socheat]joined a humanitrian organization and the CIA. At that time, when there were donnations provided for people, [Socheat]took the oppotunity to spread propaganda to people inspiring them to oppose the Khmer Rouge. [Socheat]also built up CIA forces at the edge of Kampong Saom Province, but [Socheat]was arrested by the revolution's soldiers. Living in the revolution -controlled Region, he harassed people, built up CIA forces and secretly reported to the US embassay in Kapong Saom. In 1975, [Socheat]ran away from Kampong Saom to live in M obile Work Brigade in Region 37. [Socheat]again built up CIA forces to prepare to escape into the forest and rob people of foodstuff in reserve for supporting guerrilas. [Keo Socheat]later fled to Tha iland and was arrested by Angkar.
