In 1968, Sou Lan [allegedly]joined the CIA to spy on Khmer Rouge activities, and built up CIA forces in Kampong Thom. After the 1975 liberation day, [Lorn]went to live in Takeo, conti nued gathering CIA networks, incited people to destroy the revolution's property and led partisan's to escape into the forest to go to Thailand. On 20 June, 1977, [Sou Lorn]was arrested by Angkar.
