Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1973, Nuon Eam joined the revolution in the Theatrical Unit of Sandan District, Region 43 and was [allegedly]advised to join the CIA by the chief of the Unit. In 1974, [Nuon Eam]left the Theatrical Unit and went to live at 27 hospital under the Regional Economic Department, inspired people not to believe in the revolution's leadership, not to join military service, and destroyed medical drugs a nd killed patients. In 1975, [Eam]was transferred to Guest Service Office in Central Zone, provoked disputes beween guests and Angkar, hid and shot the revolution's guests alleged to be bandits, poiso ned comrades coming to a meeting in Kampong Cham. He secretly attempted attack (Pol Pol)until later arrested by Angkar.
