Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1966, Ngin Sangal [allegedly]joined the CIA. [Sangal]spied on teachers in Kampong Thom Province and educated students to hate communist doctrine. In 1970, [Sangal]moved to Battambang, investigating the situation of civil servants and the people. Sangal inspired people to hate communists. After liberation day in 1975, Sangal did business with the Thai and contacted In Tam' s troops. [Sangal]insp ired people to escape to the forest, gathering troops for a coup. On June 23, 1977, [Sangal]was arrested by Angkar.
