Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1968, Luy Loeun [allegedly]was a spy for a First Lieutenant, Seng Ki. In 1970, he infiltrated the revolution in order to contact spy networks to monitor the revolution's movements. He then helped s oldiers to flee into the forest, and built up CIA spy forces. In 1975, he cooperated with the Thai in setting up military forces, by getting people escaping to Thailand to join the military service fo r the purpose of attacking the revolution, with support from Khmer living in Thailand and Phnom Malai. If they failed, they would escape either to Thailand or Vietnam. But the plan was discovered, and so on 27 September, 1977, he was arrested by Angkar.
