Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1970, Lay Tim [allegedly]joined the revolution as a combatant in Region 43 in order to oppose the Khmer Rouge. [Tim]formed a group of partisans and cheated people out of money and foodstuff. In 197 1, [Tim]joined the Free Khmer, and contacted his partisans to use Vietnam as an example as well as help support Vietnam with food supplies. During 1976-77, [Tim]set up a plan to liberate Phnom Penh, u ndertook sabotage in Phnom Penh, and created difficulties. On 14 December, 1976, [Lay Tim]was arrested by Angkar.
