Summary / Abstract :

In 1965, Vek Vorn [allegedly]was a CIA spy. [Vorn]got in touch with ill-mannered gangs and drunkards in order to persuade them to spy on and kill Khmer Rouge. In 1970, [Vorn]joined the Khmer Rouge as a Chief of the military camp in Region 4. [Vorn]then encouraged combatants to destroy weapons and to be afraid of battles, persuaded people to go to Lon Nol controlled areas, and destroyed people's ri ce to starve them. [Van]also built up CIA lines from evil and fierce men, to use them to oppose the Pol Pot clique. On 18 October, 1977, [Vek Vorn]was arrested by Angkar.
