Summary / Abstract :
|
Khem Chea joined the revolution in 1973 in the Economic Section, and [allegedly]joined the CIA to inspire people to be afraid of battles and go back home, and to hide weapons in reserve for counter-at tacks against the revolution. After the 1975 liberation day, [Khem Chea]went to work for the Martime Defense Section, and starved youth to worsen their health. In1976, [Chea]was transferred to be Chie f of the Economic Section, and killed animals, and withheld things Angkar provided to units. On May 16, 1977, [Khem Chea]was arrested by Angkar.
