Summary / Abstract :

In 1968, Nin Yeat joined the Free Khmer movement to spy on Khmer Rouge activities inside villages, inspire people to oppose the Khmer Rouge and sent messages to the enemy troops to attack Khmer Rouge soldiers. In 1972, [Nin Yeat]infiltrated the revolution in Siem Reap Province, destroyed the revolution's forces, stole Angkar's weapons and ran to join enemies, hid and shot solidiers walking alone t o steal their guns, and encouraged combatants to destroy Angkar's bullets. In 1975, [Yeat]inspired people in Battambang to hate the revolution and not to give support to soldiers and inspired combatan ts to desert the defense line. In 1976, [Yeat]allowed people to enter Thai territory, until arrested in July 1977 by Angkar.
