Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1965, Heng Pich [allegedly]lived in Russia and was introduced by Lay Ny to join the Cambodian Student Organization. In 1966, [Pich]worked at the Cambodian Embassy in Moscow. Then [Pich]joined the K GB because the Cambodian government had accused Cambodian student organizations of being Khmer Rouge. In 1967, [Pich]quit relationship with the Khmer Rouge. In 1969, [Pich]was in Beijing and became a member of Kampuchea's National Reconciliation Front. In 1974, [Pich]came back to Cambodia doing rice cultivation in Kampong Cham Province. In February 1975, Angkar assigned him to be re-educated in Pr eah Vihear Province. In December 1976, [Pich]was arrested by Angkar.
