Summary / Abstract :

Nov Kantha [allegedly]was a spy and started to spy on Khmer Rouge activities in 1972. In 1973, [Chhel]became a messenger who contacted CIA lines from Region 24 to Region 25 in order to arrange actions against the Khmer Rouge as well as to discourage people from serving in the military. During 1976-77, [Kantha]was a militiaman, and also an interrogator who interrogated people at Security Headquater s S-21. [Kantha]also planned to escape from Security Headquaters S-21 in order to attack the S-21 Headquaters. On 5 March, 1978, [Kantha]was arrested by Angkar.
