Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1963, Comrade Van [allegedly]became a CIA spy to monitor Khmer Rouge activities and sent messages to the enemy troops when to attack and drop bombs. In 1973, he infiltrated the revolution as a comb atant into the surrounding by the enemy troops, causing many deaths. He led other combatants to destroy 300 hectares of people's crops by spraying too much insecticide. In 1976, he cooperated in makin g plans and the preparation of weapons and food supplies to attack the party. He was arrested by Angkar in January, 1977.
