Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1967, Uy Ol [allegedly]was a spy with an assignment to educate students to love liberal regimes and to oppose the Khmer Rouge in Pursat. In 1968, [Ol]joined the CIA. In 1968, [Ol]infiltrated the re volution in order to destroy the revolution's forces in region 2. In 1970, Uy joined military unit as a political teacher to inspire combatants to be afraid of battle and destroy combatant forces duri ng the battle, until 1975. After the liberation day in 1975, [Ol]was sent to be in charge of a training course for cadres in Battambang, then arranged a plot to poison trainees, freed prisoners and le t them go to Thailand and destroyed a retaining dike in Songke District. On 3 July, 1977, [Ol]was arrested by Angkar.
