Summary / Abstract :

Ket Rem [allegedly]was a Chief of Region 43 in 1976. [Rem]conducted actions in the ministry of commerce, stockpiled property, and destroyed car engines. Ket Rem was later imprisoned by Angkar for 15 d ays in Kampong Cham, for gambling. After being released from prison and at the time that Khoun was arrested, [Kaet Rem]provoked conflict in ministies, inspired people to think of private ownership, bu ilt up a military base in the forest, hid food supplies for guerrillas, burned rice, and burried retaining dam. On 15 March, 1977, [Rem]was arrested by Angkar.
