Summary / Abstract :

In 1963, Dy Chamroeun [allegedly]was introduced by Ieng Seyha, a CIA member in Battambang, to join the CIA, to spy on the Khmer Rouge in Phnom Penh and to convince workers to join the CIA . In 1975, [ Chamreon]worked in the railway with the Khmer Rouge. [Chamreon]comitted anti-Khmer Rouge activities such as destroying railroad facilities. Whenever Angkar assigned [Chamreon]to do something, [Chamreo n]always deliberately failed to do it properly. On 1 August, 1977, [Dy Chamreon]was arrested by Angkar.
