Summary / Abstract :
In 1967, Khuon Bun Pai sponsored Eng Meng Heang to join the CIA. In 1970, Heang infiltrated the revolution in the Northern Zone. In the same year, Heang moved to live with Khuon and was told to ask th e Vietnamese for weapons and ammunition and to help the Vietnamese with rice supplies in return. In 1973, Heang joined the Workers' Party, and worked for Pim, Kuon and Hu Yun to plan traitorous activi ties against the party and hid ammunition and food supplies. In 1975, [Khuon]transferred Heang to build up a force in Kampong Som in order to take traitorous actions in 1977.
