Summary / Abstract :
|
Phlaok Ort was a militiaman in Veal village, Region 24. In 1972, [Ort]joined the White Khmer (A Samith Unit). In 1973, [Phlaok Ort][allegedly]joined the CIA as a spy in Region 42, built up traitorous forces, encouraged youth to join the enemy, made people in the units to shoot one another, and took patriotic people who loved the revolution to be killed. After the liberation day in 1975, [Phlaok]bu rned down properties in Kampong Cham provincial town, evacuated soldiers in Region 42 to be kept to attack the revolution, led bandits to plunder and mistreat people, transported food supplies for ban dits, made plans to attack Kampong Cham and Kampong Thom and shot people who discovered the plan. On September 16, 1977, [Phlaok Ort]was arrested by Angkar.
