Summary / Abstract :

In 1966, Yi Ngeav [allegedly]joined the CIA , assigned to spy on Khmer Rouge activities. In 1975, [Ngeav]infiltrated the revolution, then started to conduct actions against the revolution. [Ngeav]dest royed rice, crops, and equipment, and told people not to rely on the revolution. During 1976-77, [Ngeav]went to contact a Chief of Economic Section in Region 5, in order to hide food supplies and othe r goods in reserve for staging a coup d'état. On 18 September, 1977, [Yi Ngeav]was arrested by Angkar.
