In 1965, Phan Phorn joined the revolution. In 1967, [Phorn]was introduced to join the CIA, forming and building up traitorous troop within the revolution. In 1968, [Phorn]worked as a messenger for Tum , taking letters from Region 22 to the zone. In 1970, [Phorn]revealed the location of the revolution's military bases and incited combatants to destroy munitions and to kill any cadres who did not agr ee to cooperate with them. After the liberation in 1975, [Phorn]had a meeting, planning a coup d'état in Mok Kampoul, with the cooperation of the Vietnamese. In Region 22 and the zone, [Phorn]acted ag ainst communal eating. In medical care, [Phorn]destroyed medicine and did not cure patients, in an attempt to make people mistrust the revolution. On 3 June 1977, [Phan Phorn]was arrested by Angkar.
