Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1972, Kim Van, [allegedly]Chief of Cooperative in Region 1, became a Military Chief of Commerce in 1972. [Van]formed a traitor group and made people lose faith in the revolution, and encouraged the m to escape to Thailand to form troops which aimed to seize Region 1, with the cooperation of the Thai. In 1975, [Van]worked in the Regional Commerce Sector and planned to kill cadres along the border . [Van]hid rice and transported it to Thailand. [Van]destroy rice and military equipment of the revoltuion. On 16 June, 1977, [Kim Van]was arrested by Angkar.
