Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1973, Sieng Thon joined the revolution in Kampong Cham. In 1974, [Thon]joined the CIA, and started to build up CIA forces, inspired combatants to join enemies and to go back home, and destroyed the revolution's property. During 1975-76, [Thon]got himself involved in killing main cadres, and planned to conquer Kampong Cham. In 1977, [Thon]was transferred by Angkar to defend a rubber plantation, and waited to kill cadres coming from the Southwest Zone to the Central Region, and destroyed rubber factory as well. On 2 October, 1977, he was arrested by Angkar.
