Summary / Abstract :
|
In 1966, Svay An [allegedly]was a spy for the police. Comrade An joined the revolution in 1971 and worked as a house builder. An was also a servant of the secretary of the Northern Zone, Khuon. An ins pired youth to join the enemy, build up traitorous troops and destroyed the revolution. In 1974, An became Khuon's messenger. Comrade An inspired people to join the enemy network and seized people's p roperty and made it collective property. In 1975, Comrade Khuon appointed An Commercial Chief in Kampong Som. [An]encouraged people to poison cattle and destroyed good equipment which was used to serv e guests. On July 30, 1977, Angkar arrested An.
