Summary / Abstract :

In 1972, Pen Um joined the revolution as a combatant in the Department of Social Affairs Kampong Cham. In 1976, [Um]started to conduct actions against the Khmer Rouge. [Um[ then destroyed machinery, m edical drugs, spoiled medicines, made a plan to burn medical drug stock, and killed high-ranking officials by throwing grenades and poisoning. On 01 July, 1977, [Pen Um]was arrested by Angkar.
