Summary / Abstract :

Heng Hy [allegedly]contacted CIA network in Japan, France and Germany while he was studying abroad in 1956. In 1960, [Heng Hy]went to Thailand. The Embassy assigned [Heng Hy]to contact American lectur ers in the Buddhist Institute of Phnom Penh University in Phnom Penh, to plan a coup d' état to overthrow Prince Sihanouk and built up party members among students and soldiers. In 1972, [Heng Hy]cont acted the CIA networks of In Tam. In 1975, [Heng Hy]was evacuated to Battambang. There, he continued contact with the CIA networks. On 13 June, 1977, Heng Hy was arrested while transporting salt.
