Hai Sam Ol [allegedly]was a driver for Dara Depaul and worked for him until 1972. He participated in Dara Depaul's Phnom Penh coup plan, which aimed to seize Phnom Penh from Pol Pot. The plan was divi ded into 6 parts: 1. The attack by Norodom Phovisara from the Thai border, 2. The attack by Seung Ngoc Thanh from Takeo province, 3. The attack by So Sen from Kampong Speu, 4. Kratie provincial govern or from Laos, 5. Chan Rang Sey from Thailand and on to Phnom Penh, 6. The attack by In Tam's from Laos.
