Summary / Abstract :

Yav Yey [allegedly]joined the CIA in 1969. From 1969 until 1975, Yav Yey's assignment was to spy out Khmer Rouge activities, to locate Khmer Rouge bases in Region 5, and to propagadize students and pe ople to disbelieve the revolution's leadership. [Yey]conducted action against Lon Nol so that the revolution's Angkar would trust that [Yey]was a real struggler and escaped into the forest to report t o traitorous leaders. After the liberation day in 1975, [Yey]went back to Battambang, then inspired people to oppose the revolution on the issue of not having enough food to eat, and inspired youth to experience the debauchery like that of former regimes. Until in July 1977, [Yav Yey]was arrested by angkar.
