Summary / Abstract :
In 1968, Comrade Suy Phal [allegedly]spread Soviet tendencies among students in Sisowath School. In 1970, he joined the revolution as a combatant in an artillery unit, and he then was led and influenc ed by Vietnamese to join them in conducting activities. Vietnamese produced propaganda saying that Cambodia belonged in Indochinese territory, under the same government as Vietnam. They also educated Khmer soldiers to marry Vietnamese women, and Khmer women to marry Vietnamese men. They did so in order to extinguish the Khmer race and force people to learn Vietnamese language. [Suy Phal]then saw V ietnamese kill many Khmer people, so he escaped to Koh Teiv, and started to fight back against the Vietnamese. But he still created conflict in the units, and tried to go back to Vietnam. Angkar reali zed he was traitorous, and he was arrested on 28 April, 1977.
