Summary / Abstract :

This is the beginning of a growing body of literature on the enduring mental harm to Cambodians stemming from Khmer Rouge rule. These and other forthcoming studies are the most clinically detailed int erviews conducted with Cambodian survivors by trained psychiatrists and mental health workers. The impact on the reader of devastating as these surveys measure the extreme damage done to the lives of individual victims and survivors. (David Hawk).
