Democratic Kampuchea's response to U.N. inquiry in a telegram dated 16 September 1978 from the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Democratic Kampuchea addressed to the Sub-Commission on Prevention of Dis crimination and Protection of Minorities was to denounce this "impudent, criminal imperialist maneuver," which the Democratic Kampuchea's Foreign Ministry vowed "to make mincemeat of" --- a successful boast inasmuch as the U.N. Human Rights Commission never recognized or condemned the extreme Khmer Rouge violations. (David Hawk).
