The Cambodian army fighting the Vietnamese on their contested border has been significantly strengthened by at last one shipload of arm from China. A meeting of the interim Mekong committee was help in Hanoi to resume co-operative efforts by laos Thailand and Vietnam in exploiting water resources and improving narigation along the mekong river.
