On June 8, 1973, some 300 Yuon Viet Cong Armed Forces and Viet Cong Khmers deployed themselves ,along Pring Channel and stored weapons and food at VT 270-685 in Chrey Thom village, Sangkat Damnak Cha-Ae, Kampong Trlach district, Kampot province. The enemies were reinforcements and attempted to attack the National Army Position in Kampong Nong a short time later.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី៨ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ យៀកកុងយួនខាងជើង និងខ្មែរ ឧទ្ទាម ប្រមាណ៣០០នាក់ បានមករាយគ្នាស្នាក់នៅតាមបណ្ដោយអូរ ព្រីង ព្រមទាំងស្ដុកគ្រឿងសញ្វាវុធ និងស្បៀងត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ២៧០-៦៨៥ ក្នុងភូមិព្រៃធំ សង្កាត់ដំណាក់ចង្អើរ ស្រុក កំពង់ត្រឡាច «កំពត»។ ខ្មាំងទាំងនេះគឺជាទ័ពជំនួយ និងមានបំណង់ ប្រុងវាយប្រហារទីតាំងការពារជាតិយើងនៅកំពង់នង់ក្នុងពេលឆាប់ៗ នេះ។
