On February 26, 1972, about 600 Yuon Viet Cong Armed Forces under a Vietnamese commander armed Lam Kroeung, departed from Ang Borei district, Takeo province and entered Krang village. They also brought a lot of ammunition and were planning to attack Sa Ang district, Kandal province in the near future.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៦ ខែកុម្ភៈ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ មានយួនយៀកកុងប្រដាប់អាវុធ ប្រហែល៦០០នាក់ ក្រោមបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ ឡាំ គ្រឿង ជាតិយួនបាន ធ្វើដំណើរចេញពីស្រុកអង្គរបូរី ខេត្ដតាកែវ ចូលមកភូមិក្រាំង នាំយក គ្រាប់រំសេវជាច្រើនមកជាមួយផង ក្នុងគោលបំណងវាយប្រហារ នៅស្រុកស្អាង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល ក្នុងពេលខាងមុខ។
