On December 22, 1973, two Khmer Rouge soldiers Ung Yeun and Ung Reth, defected to the National Army Brigade 45 of Division 7 at VT 724-888. They said that Khmer Rouge soldier in Brigade 123, rested at VT 692-747, 683-756, 680-760 and that their head quarters were located at VT 613-837. They also brought with them a PAKOL gun with 3 cartridges.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២២ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរក្រហមពីររូបឈ្មោះ អ៊ុង យឺន និង អ៊ុង រ៉េត បានចូលរួបរួមក្នុងសង្គមជាតិវិញជាកងទ័ពជាតិ ក្នុងកងពលតូចទី៤៥ កងពលធំទី៧ ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៧២៤-៨៨៨។ ជនទាំងពីររូបនេះបានសារភាពថា សព្វថ្ងៃទីនេះកងទ័ពខ្មែរក្រហមក្នុង កងវរៈសេនាតូច១២៣ បានឈប់សម្រាកនៅត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៦៩២-៧៤៧, ៦៨៣-៧៥៦, ៦៨០-៧៦០ ហើយនឹងមានទីបញ្ជាការ នៅត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៦១៣-៨៣៧។ ក្នុងអំឡុងពេលនៃការចូលរួបរួម ក្នុងសង្គមជនទាំងពីររូបនេះ បាននាំយកមកជាមួយនូវអាវុធខី្លម៉ាក ប៉ាកុល មួយដើម និងបង់គ្រាប់ចំនួន៣។
